Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Limited (PPFAS) was set up in 1992 to provide advisory and transaction services on the Bombay Stock Exchange. This was extended to the National Stock Exchange a couple of years later. In 1996, it was among the first set of firms that secured licenses to provide Portfolio Management Services (PMS - Registration No. INP000000241). It is also the Sponsor of PPFAS Mutual Fund. The fund launched its first Scheme in May 2013 and currently has five Schemes.
The company generates revenue through management fees, specifically from portfolio management services (PMS). Investment analysis and behavioural finance concepts are core components of the company's business model. The company invests its funds in schemes of Mutual Funds and other permissible securities. PPFAS does not charge management fees on the amount it invests in its mutual fund schemes, as per SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996. The company offers Portfolio Management Services.
