- IAV Infrastructures Private Limited is a midstream infrastructure service and solution provider in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industries. Their expertise lies in Terminalling Services, Build Capabilities, and Renewable Energy. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, catering to all customer requirements, from the initial planning stages to commissioning and operation & maintenance of bulk liquid storage facilities. IndianOil Adani Ventures Limited (IAVL),( formerly known as Indian Oiltanking) is the holding company and 100% owner of IAV Infrastructures Private Limited.
- History of IAV Infrastructure:
- a) Established in 1996, IAVL has been a leader in addressing customer storage logistics needs. They are jointly owned by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a Maharatna PSU company, and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), India's largest transport utility company. This collaboration allows IAVL to provide unparalleled logistics services and technical solutions in the Petroleum, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Gas storage industries.
- b) Originally established in 1996 as Indian Oiltanking Limited, the company was a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Oiltanking GmbH, Germany (part of the Marquard & Bahl's AG group). Its purpose was to provide transportation and storage solutions for crude oil and petroleum products.
- c) In January 2023, Oiltanking GmbH divested its entire stake (49.38%) in Indian Oiltanking Ltd. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd acquired this stake, and the organization was subsequently renamed IndianOil Adani Ventures Limited (IAVL).
