Swiggy appoints Amitesh Jha as Instamart CEO

Public markets-bound Swiggy has appointed former Flipkart senior vice president and head of grocery Amitesh Jha as the chief executive of Instamart, according to an email sent by Swiggy co-founder and group CEO Sriharsha Majety.
In an internal email, Majety announced Jha's appointment. Swiggy cofounder Phani Kishan Addepalli, who was previously heading Instamart, will now lead the firm's central growth team that looks after initiatives like the subscription service Swiggy One. Phani will also take on the role of chief of staff to Majety.
