Philips India arm partners with Star Imaging to start MRI training school in the country

Philips, a health technology company, Indian arm announced its partnership with Star Imaging, a Pune based diagnostic laboratory to launch a MRI training school in India. The curriculum for this program has been designed to provide international standard training to radiologists on MRI technologies across 17 sub-specialties, said the medical device developer.

According to Philips the two-week residential program, designed to provide advanced theoretical knowledge and practical training, focuses on organ-based sub-specialty reporting and hands-on training. It also involves application training, clinical case study discussions, scanning, and workflow observation across multiple anatomies such as head and neck, musculoskeletal, body, neuro, etc.
