Chartered Speed flags off EV transport services in GIFT City

Mobility service provider Chartered Speed Ltd. (CSL) who had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GIFT City – India’s first Smart City and International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) flagged off a fleet of Electric Vehicles in GIFT City. As a part of Phase 1, Chartered Speed launched four fully integrated EV Buses and twenty e-bikes services to address the demand of public transport for people commuting to and from GIFT City in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The number of buses will increase to 50 over a period of 12-18 months.

​Mr. Tapan Ray, Managing Director & Group CEO of GIFT City flagged off the services in presence of Mr Pankaj Gandhi, Managing Director and CEO of Chartered Speed Ltd. Commuters can opt for convenient subscription options, can pre-book the seats in buses and find a bike for their travel route. These travel services will cover three destination points – 2 in Ahmedabad and 1 in Gandhinagar.​
