Ankit, along with Bhavish Aggarwal, identified a gap in India's transportation sector where affordable, reliable, and technology-driven cab services were missing. This led them to launch Ola Cabs in 2010.​

Ankit Bhati is an Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Ola Cabs, one of India’s largest ride-hailing platforms. Alongside Bhavish Aggarwal, Ankit started Ola in 2010, transforming the way urban India commutes.

An IIT Bombay graduate, Ankit Bhati played a crucial role in building the technology and infrastructure that powered Ola’s rapid growth. From managing driver-partner systems to developing customer booking platforms and scaling Ola’s operations in over 250+ Indian cities and international markets like Australia and the UK, Ankit was the tech brain behind Ola’s backend success.

• In early 2020, Ankit Bhati officially stepped down from his active role as CTO and moved out of Ola’s day-to-day operations. Though he exited his operational duties, he retained his stake in the company as a co-founder. While exact shareholding numbers haven’t been made public, it’s known that Ankit Bhati held a significant equity percentage in Ola.
• After leaving Ola, Ankit Bhati went on to explore other entrepreneurial ideas. In 2020, he launched Amnic, a SaaS platform aimed at offering cloud-native engineering infrastructure for modern enterprises, further showcasing his strength in building tech-driven ventures.
