AB InBev seeks to suspend Bud sales in Russia

Following the lead of other big brewers, Anheuser-Busch InBev said on Friday, March 11, that it is seeking to cease Bud beer sales in Russia and will lose any financial benefits from a joint venture that operates in the nation. In Russia and Ukraine, the world's largest brewer has a partnership with Turkey's Anadolu Efes, although it does not own a majority interest and does not consolidate it in its accounts.
